The Department of Labor and Employment represented by Mr. Rheinan Brice Gorgonio, conducted an orientation and profiling of Child Laborers in Barangay Sherwood, Albuera, Leyte with the assistance of the Public Employment Service Office of Albuera, led by SLEO Chastity Barte.
This is the 2nd leg of the conduct, with the 1st leg conducted last September 18, 2025. The initiative aims to reduce then instances of child labor in the municipality by providing targeted programs by DOLE like Project Angel Tree, Livelihood for parents of Child Laborers, and Special Program for the Employment of Students.
